The Festival features educational, hands-on activities for children in the Children’s Global Village. Local community groups, clubs, organizations, businesses, educational institutions and individuals are encouraged to participate with a booth.
All children’s activities are offered to Festival attendees free of charge. Participants must supply their own materials for craft projects. There is no fee for children’s participants. Participants must have enough people to man their booths for the duration of the Festival. Special requests, such as volunteer or set-up needs, should be indicated on the application form.
NEW this year is a focus on STEAM activities. Organizations promoting science, technology, engineering, art or math are encouraged to participate. STEAM participants can promote their services and programs and must also offer a free, educational activity to attendees that is related to their particular STEAM specialty.
