Volunteer Opportunities

The Plano International Festival offers many ways in which you and your organization can be involved. Depending on your availability, you can join a committee or just serve a two-hour shift on the day of the Festival. And depending on your background or interests, you can help with any of the Festival areas, such as the food court, children’s workshops , booths, and others.

We also need a team of Green Ambassadors who will assist all attendees in properly sorting their trash. We are trying to minimize our environmental impact by collecting trash in separate organic, recyclable and regular trash bins, thereby reducing landfill waste. Our 2010 efforts were a tremendous success–we diverted nearly 73% of all waste from the landfill. You can help us continue this success by signing up to be a Green Ambassador!

Please let us know how you’d like to be involved by sending an email to info@planointernationalfestival.org and include the word Volunteer in the subject line.

Volunteer Details:
Shifts are 2 hours, and volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts. Applications should be turned in by September 20, 2011. Community service credit hours will be given for all hours worked.
